Dr. David Ashem (MBBS,MBA,FISQua,FBDFM,LSSGB) is a physician, healthcare quality leader, and systems improvement consultant dedicated to advancing healthcare quality, patient safety, and operational excellence in healthcare organizations. He holds an MBBS, an MBA in Health Services Management and is a Fellow of the International Society for Quality in Health Care (FISQua), an internationally recognized credential in healthcare quality and safety. He is also a fellow of the Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management (FBDFM). With a background in clinical practice and healthcare management, Dr. David specializes in healthcare quality improvement, accreditation readiness, emergency preparedness, and healthcare systems strengthening. His expertise includes Lean Six Sigma-based process improvement, clinical governance frameworks, policy development, performance management systems, and patient safety programs. Dr. David is also a certified Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) instructor through the American Heart Association, where he delivers training in resuscitation science, emergency response systems, and organizational preparedness for critical events. In addition to his clinical and quality leadership work, he has completed professional training in Monitoring and Evaluation and Project Management from the University of Washington.
